My real name's Morgan but online, I go by either Roxie or Kari. I'm a 33 year old white nonbinary American (zhe/ve/she/they pronouns) living with my two partners and two cats who I love very much. I have type 1 diabetes, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and possibly autism (not yet diagnosed). I'm a hot mess but I have a good support system getting me by.

In terms of a career, I've been all over the place. I got my bachelor's in social work and have worked as a behavioral health case manager for many years until I decided to get certified as a drug and alcohol counselor. It wasn't until I moved in with my partners that I realized that I wasn't doing things for me and it was a hard pill to swallow at the time. I worked in fast food as a bit of a bandaid type of job until recently. Now, I'm a full time driver at a medical clinic for Native Americans who need transportation for their appointments. I'm content where I'm at while I explore my potential and my true purpose in this world.

The Internet has been my go-to place since the early 2000s. I've wandered for a long time and made some friends along the way through roleplaying and sharing art. I remember making my own websites as a teenager and playing with code to make stuff work to my liking. My spark for making characters and stories began there, inspired by my friends and websites I browsed at the time. I also signed up for Neopets and played flash games on there and the Cartoon Network websites. I'm all over the place in terms of interests.

I have had many, many different handles throughout my digital life. Some of my aliases included: DarkStar Pikachu, Kari-Isis, Ice-Dragon-Mistress9, Dspki, Aikavo, (A)CosmicRose, and artbymorgs. I think a lot of these changes occurred because of my impulsive needs to run when bad feelings start coming up. It might also have been because I get tired of the name and want something new for a change. Either way, I'm owning up to it now. This is who I am. I got a lot of history and baggage that may not matter much to newcomers but it's probably there if you look hard enough. Maybe.

Regardless, this is the face I take on now. This is the space I created for myself to express whatever I like because I have the right to exist as I am. I appreciate you taking this time to read this and I hope you stay for a while. I don't mind the company at all; in fact, I welcome it.

• I was diagnosed as a type 1 diabetic in December 2001. I use an insulin pump and take meds to deal with insulin resistance. I have an interesting predicament where lab work verified that I am a type 1 diabetic but I have little to no autoimmune issues.
• I've had at least 1 near death experience because of gross negligence of my own health. I do not plan on repeating that incident again.
• I used to volunteer at a crisis center where I would provide support and a care package for survivors. I did that for about 3 years while in college.
• I'm considering volunteering again but this time, at an animal shelter or even a zoo. Either way, I like being around animals more than I do people.
• I got a big fat binder full of Pokemon cards. It is my physical Pokedex, to put it simply. My very first Pokemon card was a Magmar that a classmate gave to me in elementary school.
• I feel like I have a good singing voice. I really like jamming out to music on my drives and since I'm usually by myself, it makes for great practice!
• I also used to be a part of some dance groups in high school, before my brain decided it wasn't worth it. I still have a tendency to move my body to good music.
